They set the traps up in their little kitchen.
For the bait, we made miniature vanilla cupcakes.
Well...a leprechaun did come and made a huge mess! He tore a cushion off, flipped a chair over, and tossed toys all over the place!
Unfortunately, we didn't catch one this year either! However, a leprechaun took some of the our cupcakes and left us with a rainbow of cupcakes. (I'm assuming the green ones were going to be miniature donuts because of the holes, but the sleepy leprechaun realized green was needed to complete the rainbow!)
And left the boys with gold candy that must have been sprinkled with magic dust because Trevor picked up all of the mess!
Well, I guess we'll have to try again next year!
